This home renovation included an addition of a 9 meter above ground pool, which meant we needed to build a base around the pool once it was manoeuvred into place by the crane.
​
It was built using Black-butt hardwood to comply with the BAL ratings. Complete with timber stairs on both ends of the deck, surrounded by glass balustrade pool fencing.
​
Not only did we build this pool deck, we also built the top deck to match, making these an amazing space for outdoor relaxation.
Outdoor Fire Pit Area

Firstly we added a roof to the back deck area. We also extended the current back deck, incorporating large platform steps. This has then been followed by a railway sleeper wall that has them placed vertically in various sizes by a local landscaping team.
​
Followed by our major feature - a traditional timber frame outdoor masterpiece, supplied by one of our previous carpenters Josh, who now builds amazing structures. This is a traditional timber framing masterpiece!
​
Lastly, we have stunning blue stone crazy paving to finish off this area with Corten edging & a stone fire pit arena.
​
Perfect in summer or winter, to cook up a delicious feast or just enjoy family time around the fire.

Our clients were very specific with this job that they wanted this particular timber to replace what had rotted out on their home.
​
The building itself is a mixture of materials, including some mud brick, so some posts were replaced and fit in snugly against the mud brick, while all the decking and spiral stairs were replaced.
​
Once finished, it looked amazing & suited this home perfectly as they are situated in a beautiful bush surrounding.
​

Renovated Deck with Sun Room

The back deck on this home was old, tired and needed upgrading. With old brown tiles being the base of the old deck along with some old steps, it needing some major
work.
​
Now with the whole new deck complete, new handrails and balustrade, the sun room has been fixed and it offers both indoor & outdoor living for the whole family.
​
A great solution for what was a worn out area before.

These external stairs were the feature of a local front yard and they came up looking fantastic!
​
The clients have used the same timber as a feature on their home so they wanted this red colour in the merbau timber to match.
​
They fit perfectly into this garden space, amongst the stones & native garden.
